I've made it no secret that Davaux UI is heavily inspired by Mantine. Mantine is my favorite React UI library (I used it on this site), so that shouldn't be a surprise. What I like about it is the shape of the components. Everything is well designed and everything is purposefully built. That's how I want Davaux UI to be as well. With that said, Davaux UI isn't intended to be a one for one swap with Mantine. One reason for that is Mantine is very large, Davaux UI is still pretty new, so it wont have nearly as many of the extra components. It's mostly intended to be a base for now, not a full suite of components.
With all of that said, I like it a lot. I think as far as styling, it's going to be able to compete with the larger libraries. Davaux UI goes beyond Mantine and offers Surfaces and Elevation. The primary color is more involved in the UI, such as deriving the default styling for AppShell, Paper, and Card components. Elevation allows you to add depth as well. More components will get Elevation support over time, as the system is perfected and tweaked.
I plan to launch a preview of the documentation site soon, which is a 2nd documentation site dedicated to, and styled entirely by, Davaux UI. There will also be a new Davaux docs site, also rebuilt with the Davaux UI, that will launch when I release the next version of Davaux. It's still carrying the Alpha label, but the changes to Davaux itself are slowing down, which possibly means Beta is coming soon.
