I have to travel to Texas for work tomorrow. I’ll be gone for much of December, but I have the POP3 posting set up so I’ll try to blog when I get a chance.
I was promoted in October and this trip is for some training. Hopefully Sheppard AFB isn’t as bad as I remember. I wont have a computer with me, but I should get a work email acct or at least be able to use one of the Internet Cafes on base.

I’ll likely be moving all of my projects to a section on this new site, but for now you can still access the old Tangant.com at Tangant.com/xaraya.
I don’t know when I’ll be moving it, I may just simplify the xaraya install and keep it. More on this later.

This is probably the 10th time (no joke) I’ve started this site over again. If you are here looking for one of my older Open Source projects, I’ll try to add a section for them when I get a chance.
I’ve started this over so I can have a place to just write. I don’t plan on starting it over again, but knowing me that can’t be ruled out. I plan to write about politics, the economy, IT, and things like that for the most part. I’ll probably talk about projects and working on and rant more than anything though.
Starting over is one of my bad habits, but I think everything needs to be refreshed once in a while. I’m trying to get out of that and just spend time on things that are worth while, things that I wont necessarily feel I need to start over. The ironic thing is to do that, I have to give a few things a fresh start and just do them right for once.
I’m using Wordpress for this blog, mainly because it just works and it’s simple. I don’t plan on using Xaraya very much anymore, since I began developing my own PHP framework back in August. I’ll talk more about Clay (my framework) and why I chose to build it more later. I’ll also go into why I moved away from Xaraya, which is a good framework.
Well, that’s it for now. Welcome to the new Tangant.com and I hope you come back to read some of my ramblings from time to time.
